Cleared DevSecOps Engineer
Job Description
A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Cleared DevSecOps Engineer to join their team in Colorado Spings, CO at Peterson Space Force Base!
Must have an active secret clearance and willing to upgrade to a top secret.
This will be 100% onsite.
DevSecOps Engineer Performs technical planning, design, development, and integration for total system life cycle. Analyses performed at all levels of system product includes concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance & disposal. Incorporate design methods & standards for cyber security, software, and hardware infrastructure. Designs, develops, documents, tests, & debugs software. Ensures the logical conversion of customer/product requirements into total system solutions align to software & hardware deployment. Applies standards, processes, procedures & tools throughout the development life cycle. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development & analyzes system capabilities to resolve program problems, output/input, and data acquisition. Validates incorporation of features & use cases into implemented designs.
Level 4: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience;or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Additional Qualifications
Must have Secret, with ability to upgrade to TS.
Experience with standard system administration tasks.
Red Hat/Linux administration experience.
Experience with writing and updating documentation.
Ability to travel locally (up to 10%).
System Administrators are required to Comply with DOD 8570. If this is fulfilled by
CompTIA Security+, it must be current (within 3 years) within 90 days of assignment.
Experience with virtualized operating system concepts and administration.
Experience with system provisioning automation tools (CHEF, Puppet, Ansible).
Experience with basic scripting/coding tasks.
Experience with storage solutions (NAS, etc...).
Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, i.E. STIG & DSS compliance,
documentation, etc.
Strong Troubleshooting skills.
Able to apply extensive technical knowledge to complex technical problems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
