Job Description
A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a cleared Database Administrator to join their team in Longmont, CO!
Maintains operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration within the scope of the contract. The DBA should be familiar with Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Windows and database administrator experience preferably with PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or MongoDB is a plus. The DBA should be aware of IBM AIX. In addition, knowledge/experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development is highly preferred. The DBA and SA Team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management. The DBA will assist the IA team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents.
An active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance required. Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
