Job Description
A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Cleared System Administrator to join their team in Longmont, CO!
The SA will maintain operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration within the scope of the contract. The SA should be experienced with Red Hat Linux primarily, and familiar with Microsoft Windows. The SA should be aware of SGI IRIX, Sun Solaris IBM AIX and Cisco IOS. The SA Team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management. The SA will work closely with the customer and peer personnel to accomplish these responsibilities. The SA will also provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues. The SA will assist the IA team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents. Experience or familiarity with devsecops, CI/CD pipelines are a plus.
Must have active TS/SCI preferred or Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
Looking for following levels:
E1 Senior consultant to top management typically with an advanced degree and 18+ years experience or bachelors with 20+ years experience or equivalent
E2 Expert, authority in discipline typically with an advanced degree and 12+ years experience or bachelors with 14+ years experience or equivalent
E3 Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent
