A Major Fortune 500 Company in Center City  is looking for talented and seasoned engineer for ambitious projects related to securing development across the internal and external product line. The tooling and products we build are consumed by thousands of developers and many millions of customers daily across the residential and business telecom space.

Principal activities will include development, maintenance, deployment and automation of internet-security-focused tools developed in house as well as contributing to prominent Opensource projects: SecurityMonkey, OpenSSH, Vault, Consul, and Artemis. Linux and dynamic programming languages (Ruby and/or Python) are essential and a working knowledge of a lower level compiled language such as Go or C++ would greatly help. When it comes to security, reflexive utilization of best practices and clearly defined standards, methods, and procedures is a must. Accomplishing our tasks will require working closely with team-members, other teams and external teams and will be expected to contribute code within the environment.

  • Expertise in operations and deployment pipelines in multiple cloud environments (AWS/OpenStack/GCP) using CICD (Jenkins), Orchestration (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible)
  • Strong knowledge in authentication patterns such as OAuth, Diffie Hellman, MFA
  • Understand SSL/TLS and x509 as it pertains to the internet and system trust
  • Experience with Agile and/or Kanban

Bonus Points:
  • Record of strong contributions to open source communities
  • Experience with running SaaS solutions
  • Experience writing key management software
  • Experience with distributed systems and patterns at large scale
