USARC – ENOSC Manager Job Description


This position is responsible for management of network engineers accountable for Tier II monitoring and initial triage in a WAN/LAN Unclassified / Classified network environment that typically links to numerous computer platforms, operating systems and network topologies. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for a team of System Administrators responsible for Tier II monitoring of all services and applications across the USAR network. The position requires you to be on-call 24/7 to include weekends, evenings and Holidays as needed.



ENOSC Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:


Analyze internal processes while recommending and implementing procedural or policy changes to improve and streamline ENOSC operations

Develop / maintain standard operating procedures and documentation

Provide technical expertise / guidance for escalated network issues

Develop / maintain ENOSC Operation SharePoint content

Coordinate with various teams on network assets installations, upgrades, and configuration changes affecting the network

Identify Network Trends that impact Network service delivery

Provide personnel coverage for a 14x5 weekday environment

Ensures timely and accurate notifications of network issues / outages are being communicated to the government and that all outages are being escalated accordingly with our vendor partners

Responsible for the in/out processing and training of Personnel

Responsible for the content within daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly network reports to the government

Ensure the Network Operations Center meets network availability SLA requirements and ticket handling objectives while providing hands-on leadership during network events

Responsible for conducting interviews for new NOC employees


Certification; knowledge of the following:

Computer Associates (CA) Service Desk

CA Spectrum

Cisco ISE

Cisco Routers and switches

Aruba Wireless



The candidate must pass multiple drug tests in addition pass a security clearance and background investigations.   The ideal candidate should also have a general working / in-depth knowledge of Cisco equipment.  The candidate must possess a minimum of 6-8 years’ experience.





6 to 8 years WAN/LAN Networking experience or Network Security preferably in a network operations management center

Must have valid and current DoD SECRET security clearance

Must be flexible to work in a 7 X 24 environment across all shifts including weekends and holidays.

DOD 8570.01 Compliance required

CCNA/CCENT certification

Security+ Certification required

Technical Certifications required
