- Min of B.S. In Engineering
- Minimum of 3 + yrs. Experience as an Investment Casting Engineer or equivalent
- Experience in Medical Device or other regulated work environment such as Automotive or Aerospace
- New casting product launch experience
- From feasibility through full validation and commercial launch
- Familiar with wax pattern tool/mold design
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Project management experience
- Proficient with GD&T and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings per ASME Y14.5M (GD&T)
- Ability to interpret CMM reports
- Proficient with the following software
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Minitab
- Familiar with:
- PFMEA/DFMEA's
- Gage R&R's
- TMV's
- Risk Assessments
- Control Plans
- Experience with equipment validations (IQ, OQ & PQ's)
- Related work experiences
- Sand, Die Casting or Foam Castings
- Wax or Plastic Injection Molding
- CNC Machining (of Castings a bonus)
- Proficient in Solid Modelling (NX/Unigraphics, Solid Works, Pro-E)
- Proficient in Simulation software (Solidification, FEA, Mold Flow, CFM)
- Project management experience
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
- Green or Black Belt Six Sigma
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D Printing)
- Statistical Analysis (Mini-Tab)
- Experience using ceramic cores in the investment casting process
- 6 axis or equivalent robot operation or programing experience
