In this role with the Operations & Sustainment team, you be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and sustainment support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of locations and vendor hardware.

Job Description:
In this role with the Operations & Sustainment team, you be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and sustainment support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of locations and vendor hardware.
Responsibilities for a Network Engineer include but are not limited to:
- Configuration and management of Juniper and Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and support to system administration team in deployment at new sites.
- Support the design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems.
- Network and System Administration.
- Workstation and server configuration.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Working with the System Administrator, Hardware, and Software teams to maintain/update system.
- Install/build rack mounted systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing LAN and WAN networks
- Experience with Linux/RHEL
- Experience with Juniper/Cisco
Desired skills:
- Experience in SPACE Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Systems
- Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing
- Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products.
- Certifications in the industry vendors Juniper/Cisco
- Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
- Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
- Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible
- Virtualization utilizing VMWare
- Document existing and new network architectures using Visio
