Job Summary (Primary function)
The Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVA) Contractor will support the Global Pharmacovigilance organization by evaluating the current end to end PVA lifecycle, identifying operational challenges, and recommending process efficiencies. This role will help strengthen compliance, streamline workflows, and optimize cross-functional collaboration related to PVAs.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current PVA lifecycle, including intake, drafting, review, approval, execution, repository management, and partner notifications.
  • Identify operational challenges, inconsistencies, and process gaps.
  • Develop recommendations for process improvements, standardization, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and review SOPs, work instructions, templates, checklists, and training materials.
  • Support optimization of PVA workflows within Veeva SafetyDocs.
  • Ensure alignment with global PV regulations and internal compliance standards.
  • Facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders to gather input and validate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with system administrators to ensure PVA processes are properly configured and supported in SafetyDocs.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English to effectively communicate in the workplace.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of global Pharmacovigilance regulations (CFR/GVP), ICH Guidelines, and GCP.
  • Experience preparing and delivering training to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience working with learning management systems;proficiency with Veeva eLMS preferred.
  • Experience developing procedural documents and working with document management systems;proficiency with Veeva eDMS preferred.
  • Bachelor s degree in a science or healthcare-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
