Duties:

The candidate will work as part of a team that provides specialized bioanalytical assay testing to support late Research through Development stage projects in the pipeline. Qualified candidates will possess strong technical expertise in ligand binding and/or cell based assay execution for the support of preclinical and clinical studies. Work is performed in a GCLP and GLP compliant laboratory, therefore completing documentation, focusing on details and following procedures is necessary to be successful in this position. Other responsibilities include preparation and qualification of critical reagents, data analysis, completing  general lab support duties, preparing buffers, and instrument maintenance/troubleshooting. 

Skills:

Qualifications: 
  • Experience in basic immunological methodologies in particular ligand binding assays,  cell based  assays, tissue culture, cell line maintenance and flow cytometry. Microsoft office and LIMS competency  is  required.  
  • Experience with Watson LIMS is preferable as is knowledge of relevant data collection software for various assay platforms (Molecular Devices, MSD, Protein Simple ELLA,  Gyrolab  Gyros,  Quanterix  Simoa,  BioRad  BioPlex, BD  FACSCanto).  
  • Candidate must hold a bachelor’ s degree from an accredited college or university or bachelor’ s degree in one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences and at least 3 years hands-on experience in the execution of complex immunoassays in a regulated environment. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor' s degree with at least 3 years relevant laboratory experience.
