Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and scientifically curious chemical library specialist to join our Discovery Chemistry department and contribute to the development of internal high throughput screening chemical library. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply chemistry knowledge towards discovery of new therapeutic entity. The successful candidate will play an integral role in a variety of departmental initiatives as well as laboratory-based duties

Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job
- Assist scientists in the development of internal HTS chemical library.
- Order and maintain inventory of chemical reagents.
- Prepare building blocks and chemical stock solutions for HTE experiments
- Handle sample logistics for chemical library
- Follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Record and document results accurately
- Participate in team meetings and communicate data as well as progress to colleagues
- BS (or equivalent laboratory experience) in Chemistry/Life Sciences or related field, compound management/sample logistics experience desirable. (0-5 years)
- Comfortable with working in proper protection equipment (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat)
- The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and work productivity in teams as well as independently.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities as needed to meet project goals.
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills
