Job Summary
As part of the antibody discovery group, this individual will perform an essential role to support early-stage discovery programs by purification and qualification of antibody samples. They will be expected to perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and record work in detailed electronic notebooks.

Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job
- Plan, perform, analyze, and document laboratory experiments
- Execute purification workflows with different platforms using a variety of chromatographic techniques.
- Buffer exchange, quality control and characterization of purified samples.
- Expected to handle a large volume of purification samples with high attention to detail
- Troubleshoot and optimize purification workflows to improve their efficiency
- Maintain laboratory instruments and supplies
- BS degree with 5+ years of experience or MS with 3+ years of related experience.
- Knowledge and hands-on-experience with antibody purification and different characterization methods (SDS PAGE, CE-SDS, SEC, Western Blotting, etc.) required.
- Strong organization, communication, and Microsoft software skills.
- Flexible and enthusiastic in a fast paced biotech.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with liquid handling automation or high-throughput purification automation preferred.
- Experience with aseptic techniques for sterile protein purification is a plus.
