Job Description
A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a System Administrator to join their team in Fort Meade, MD!
This role is 100% on site and you must possess a TS/SCI will Full Scope Poly and a CWIP IAT 3 certification or be able to obtain the cert within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities:
-Provide the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
-Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
-Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
-Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
-Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
-Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
-Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
-Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
-Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
-Configure and manage primarily Linux/Unix (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Requirements:
- TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
- 15 years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- -CWIP IAT 3 Certification within 6 months of hire (Cyber Workforce Improvement Program- Information Assurance Technical III)
- Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor s degree.
- General familiarization with Tenable Nessus Manager - Connect clients, run scans, create vulnerability and compliance scans, upgrade audits and plugins files.
- Linux - Moderate systems administration knowledge to include installing OS, configuration, patching, identify and fix everyday issues.
- Trellix E-Policy Orchestrator - General familiarization, update system software, push agents and connect nodes.
- Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022 - General IT knowledge to install OS and configure devices, patch vulnerabilities.
- Windows Active Directory - Run domain controllers, configure users and computers, configure Group Policy in accordance with DISA STIG's, configure DNS and DHCP.
