Systems Engineer II (DoD Cleared Infrastructure & Integration Support)
Job Description
We are supporting a DoD program seeking a cleared Systems Engineer to support system integration, infrastructure environments, and ongoing design efforts. This role will work alongside senior engineers to support system improvements, documentation, and operational alignment across a multi-technology environment.
This is a strong fit for someone with a solid engineering foundation who has had exposure to system design or architecture and is looking to continue building in that area.
Responsibilities
- Support system integration across network, hardware, and software environments
- Assist in developing and maintaining system design documentation and diagrams
- Work with senior engineers to evaluate and implement technical solutions
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and overall environment stability
- Ensure systems align with operational and interoperability requirements
- Analyze workflows and assist in identifying areas for improvement
- Support compliance with security and DoD standards
- Active Secret clearance
- IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent)
- 3-5+ years of experience in systems, network, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments
- Exposure to system integration, documentation, or design efforts
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments
- Experience supporting design discussions or architecture efforts
- Familiarity with OSI model or system interoperability concepts
- Exposure to security practices or system hardening
